  14.        This program is part of the Samba suite.

  16.        ssmmbbssttaattuuss  is  a  very  simple program to list the current
  17.        Samba connections
  18.  
  19.        Just run the program and the output is  self  explanatory.
  20.        You  can  offer  a  configuration filename to override the
  21.        default. The default is CONFIGFILE from the Makefile.

  23.        Option _-_d gives verbose output.
  24.  
  25.        _-_p print a list of smbd processes  and  exit.  Useful  for
  26.        scripting.

  34.        The location of the server and its support files is a mat-
  35.        ter for individual system  administrators.  The  following
  36.        are thus suggestions only.

  38.        It  is recommended that the ssmmbbssttaattuuss program be installed
  39.        under the /usr/local hierarchy, in a directory readable by
  40.        all,  writeable only by root. The program itself should be
  41.        executable by all.

  45.        This man page is (mostly) correct for  version  1.9.00  of
  46.        the  Samba  suite,  plus some of the recent patches to it.
  47.        These notes will necessarily lag behind development of the
  48.        software,  so it is possible that your version of the pro-
  49.        gram has extensions or  parameter  semantics  that  differ
  50.        from  or  are  not covered by this man page. Please notify
  51.        these to the address below for rectification.
